The Government of Canada is investing more than $5 million to improve the safety of farmers and farm workers by funding the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA).

This investment will create safety exhibits, web resources and training material to help farmers spot and remedy hazards. Funding will also be used to support CASA's award-winning Progressive Agricultural Safety Days - day-long events held throughout the country to make rural youth aware of the hazards on the farm and in a rural environment.
